Mall development in the U.S. may have come to a standstill in recent years, but international architecture firms still get to exercise their creativity with striking mall designs. Using recent entries in the World Architecture Festival Awards and Cityscape Global Awards competitions, we put together a list of five mall projects that are anything but plain vanilla shells.
